Australian Maritime Engineering CRC The Sydney 40 yacht design by Murray Burns and Dovell (MB&D) has been selected as the mid-size one design yacht to race the world's premier yacht regatta, the Champagne Mumm Admiral's Cup. The yacht was designed utilising inovative design tools and research outcomes emanating from the work of the Australian Maritime Engineering CRC, in particular the development of a velocity prediction program. This work was conducted by CMST personnel.
